|2018| Install CUSTOM Recovery (TWRP/CWM) Universal NO COMPUTER Android Oreo – Android Jelly Bean

Today I will be showing you how to install a custom recovery on your non-rooted android device. Using this recovery, you can install a custom ROM such as Lineage, CyanogenMod, or Stock Android. This works on the latest Android Oreo (8.0), all the way down to Nougat (7.0), Marshmallow (6.0), Lollipop (5.0), Kitkat (4.4), and JellyBean (4.3).

I will also show you how to root very easily without a computer to finish this process. It takes ~1 minute to root and it is safe. It does not mess with your device security. Verified by XDA developers.

Let me get this straight… I need to root my device then install some sketchy app to litteraly override and possibly brick my phone to get root? Couldnt you just get kingroot and root it with that?!?

Hey all: Kingroot and the like does not work UNIVERSALLY. Some phones have locked bootloaders, and some just can't be rooted. If you want to root, get a phone that can be rooted. Also, if you don't absolutely need root, don't root.
