This week we’re looking at free apps and first up we have Set Orientation.

This is very useful when you want to force apps into the orientation that your are holding your phone.

For example, how many times have you been gaming and thought to yourself “Self” this game would be great in landscape mode. Well, with this app, wish no more…

Just open the app before hand, you can leave the orientation to automatic like I have here, or choose the one you want. Then open your app or game of choice and va-la…there you have it.

I’ve got a link down below if you’re interested, so go and check it out for yourself.

Want to keep sensitive or important information on your screen hidden from those around you? No problem. With Privacy screen, simply open the app, click on hamburger menu and adjust your screen to the appropriate brightness level leaving only visible what’s between the two bars.

If you need more space, then use the handle to increase the amount of screen being shown. This app can also be found on the Playstore and the link is you know where. If you happen to like what you see, then go and check it out .

This next app can help you in so many ways. With Lifehacks, you can find tips and tricks that can be applied in every day life. For example, did you know that if you drop a good battery on the floor, typically it will bounce and flip one time. Batteries that flip multiple times are no good. What a good thing to know.

There’s loads of info to be gained with this app. The U know what is U know where, so go and check it out.

Now this next one might not be used everyday, but it certainly comes in handy. With Photo Math, you can get some quick help to solve math problems. Just scan the problem in question and within seconds you get the answer and the steps to how the problem was solved. Where was this app when I needed it?

Better late than never…so go and check it out.

This last one I have is more a tip for you. Not sure if the batteries in your remote are dead? Well now you know for sure with this quick tip.

Open the camera app on your phone. Aim the remote into the camera and check for the infrared light. If it’s blinking when you press the buttons, then the batteries are good. So no more throwing out those good batteries.

Ok, so there you have it. 5 Tips in 2 minutes. Did you find any of these useful? Let me know in the comments below. If not, stop back next week, because I’ve got more. If you’re new here, go ahead and subscribe. Welcome to the channel.

As always, thanks for watching, and I’ll talk to you in the next one.

    Dear U Droid Mania,
First of all, i really like your video, and thank you for all the contents, you have one of the best case and screen protector review on YouTube.

I recently bought a note fe. I was a note 7 user, and like many others, I am a huge fan of it. As I'm still a student, I used up all my savings for that phone last year, and after the recall, i was stuck on my s3 until last week, where I got my note fe. I still got my spigen case from note 7, which is fine. However, what I didn't realise is, i can't find a nice screen protector for it. I've used up my official note 7 screen protector (that was the best I've used, but it has stopped production). I tried to find whitestone dome glass, but apparently it has sold out too. Do you have any suggestions? I'm really desperate of looking a reliable screen protector right now as I'm kinda freak out and all the ones I've found is either too expensive (yet unknown brand, so i dont know I should try or not) or really just cheap tempered glass. I've limited budget too, so every thing from the US is okay, but the shipping cost is sometimes too expensive for me. Thank you in advance.
