Does it work for Huawei Mate 10? Before I updated the software version of my cp, I can easily use my hdmi/vga adapter (dock) and connect it with my cp to my tv or even desktop monitor without any problem. But when I updated it to the newer version,I can't connect it anymore. It says its supplying power to the connected device over USB.

Hi there, I have bought a USB-C to HDMI cable and it does works perfectly but I have one question. When I connect my phone to my tv via the cable it keeps charging the tv which drains my phone battery quicker. I have no idea why it does that. Does anyone know if there's any way to turn this function off? My phone is a Huawei P30 (normal one, not the pro). Many thanks
