I spent all of my damn day, apprently this guy is so lazy that he can't finish his bloody tutorial. If your application is closing right after you open it, go to res/layout/activity main <WebView

    android:layout_width="fill_parent"

    android:layout_height="fill_parent"

android:id="@+id/"id (check res/values/id, enter in the id. If your webView is red, highlight the word and click on the bulb at the end to create the id. Don't add any other values, just hit okay"

    tools:ignore="InvalidId"

    android:layout_alignParentStart="true"

    android:layout_alignParentTop="true"

    android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"

    android:layout_alignParentLeft="true" />

In the future if you are going to create easy tutorials, assume that no one knows nothing and don't finish it half way though.

I've got a pet peeve, whenever you are doing a tutorial please show people how to make their workspace look exactly like yours. I'm not an Android developer, I am doing something for my dad because he does not have the system requirements to run the engine.

For those who think this how to convert a "Website into an Android Application", I hate to tell you this but it's not. His code is just displaying his Website shown to you, in a WebView. A WebView lacks some of the features of fully-developed browsers. So basically he's created an application that on launch, loads the Website he shows you at the beginning. So this is NOWHERE close to converting a website to an application. You can just type his website into your phones browser of choice and the results will be the same if not, better.

You are not converting anything into an Android application. You are just injecting the page into a native HTML component. Plus google now bans any app that is made solely of a WebView from being published
