HTC Exodus 1 Review Blockchain Phone in under 5 minutes!

*** Editorial corrections: #1 it does NOT have a Headphone Jack (that was a microphone!) #2 the SIM card slot doubles as a expanded storage slot too and you can put a micro SD card and expand storage.

This is the first official review of the HTC Exodus 1 Blockchain Phone by Bitsbetrippin. We are planning to have a few more reviews including getting service established, but this review services as a primer on what we know so far. This phone was delivered on Dec. 8th and we have had some limited exposure with it so far.

Potential dark horse type of situation here. If some clean UX based solutions come out of it, like easier payment gateway functions or asset layer functionality like we have done with the Boring Not a Flamethrower in this video , ‘use cases’ could become very interesting on meta tagging transactions on crypto-networks, thus driving up tx’s and cryptographic ‘proofs’ of information linked to a wallet that you wish to share the public key to. This is the Asset Layer feature we are working on, first phase completed. Technically, the portability of it could move to other UTXO cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin.

I’m getting one of these asap. So basically I just keep my iPhone & use the HTC Exodus as a crypto currency ledger that’s connected to the blockchain … I’m in 👍🏽

Was about to say something about no storage and a headphone jack lol, why would anyone use sprint? Aka government monitoring you pay for? Would have been nice if that stupid protector wasn’t on there

Until we can pull back the hood on the phone a bit, to really see the advantages and other features provided right now it just seems it's a hardware wallet built into a smartphone with flagship specs for the time. However there is a potential dark horse type of situation here. If some clean UX based solutions come out of it, like easier payment gateway functions or asset layer functionality like we have done with the Boring Not a Flamethrower in this video https://youtu.be/DR3vF0h-Qew , 'use cases' could become very interesting on meta tagging transactions on crypto-networks, thus driving up tx's and cryptographic 'proofs' of information linked to a wallet that you wish to share the public key to.
