I loved my p20 until I started realising I was missing calls and messages. On silent the vibrate is far too weak. Don't know if I've been notified. Sometimes at work I like to know if I've been contacted so that when I have a free second I can check if I need to urgently reply to a message. It'd be rude to have sound on. I don't like typing either as feedback is noisy and weak. My old LG G5 was brilliant in this respect.

This is my current phone. My friend has an iPhone X. I compared both devices. Build quality is almost the same, even the weight. They have the same software smoothness and animation. They really look the same. I was actually surprised the moment I held an iPhone X I wasn't even intimidated by it considering the fact that it costs a lot. Great build quality you got there P20!
