Huawei P30 Pro Unboxing & Full Tour

Our Huawei P30 Pro full unboxing and tour runs through the specs, hardware and EMUI 9.1 software of this sleek flagship smartphone. Packing four camera lenses, impressive battery tech and a feature-dense UI, this is one of the most exciting mobiles of 2019 so far.

The main headline grabber of the P30 Pro is of course the upgraded Super Spectrum camera setup, which once again boasts ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses. That new periscope system serves up a 5x optical zoom, as you’ll see in our hands-on tour of Huawei’s handset.

The Kirin 980 chipset returns from last year’s Mate 20 series, while a huge 4200mAh battery means all-day use on a single charge. Stay tuned for our full review for comment on the performance, but so far we’re happy with the smooth everyday running and all-day longevity.

Likewise, we can’t grumble about the near-6.5-inch OLED display, even though it’s only FHD+. The specs may not impress as much as the Mate 20 Pro, but Huawei’s latest smartphone certainly still delivers for visuals.

This is the Breathing Crystal model of P30 Pro, with a subtle but funky gradient-style finish. You get full water resistance too.

My contract is up in about 7 weeks and I've been thinking about what phone to get to replace my Samsung S9. I was considering just going to the S10 but having seen this video I'm not sure. Is this phone better than the S10?

I've never had a Huawei phone before so just looked at this to see what they actually look like. I can't believe what I've seen. It's a complete rip off of the Samsung Galaxy phones just cheaper looking. 👎🏻

I dont like that it doesnt come with a preinstalled screen protector like they used to with their phones.
And also no led notification light.
And in my country they dont include the free case.

For all the Canadian peeps out there, just be warned that you will get the 6GB model through the carrier regardless if it's the 128GB or 256GB model. It's not a big deal. The 8GB would be nice, but 6GB is plenty.
