The new Huawei P30 Pro makes several improvements to last year’s P20 Pro and we’ve been hands-on with the new flagship, to see what those upgrades are. Here’s our full side-by-side comparison of the smarthphone specs, camera tech, battery performance, speed and more, so you know which Huawei phone is best for you.
That new P30 Pro handset boasts a quad-lens camera, versus the tri-lens shooter. You get the same wide-angle and telephoto options, although the new Periscope design means a 5x optical zoom (compared with the 3x of last year). A new Super Spectrum design means more light is sucked up for brighter, more realistic photos and video, while the Super HDR tool is great for high contrast scenes.
This 2019 mobile also adds wireless charging and an in-display fingerprint sensor, boosts the performance with Huawei’s Kirin 980 chipset and increases the screen size too. So the P30 Pro is a big upgrade over the P20 Pro, despite looking much the same.
