Comparing the new Huawei P30 versus last year’s P20 smartphone, to see what’s been upgraded – we’ve got all-new camera hardware (including a full tri-lens setup), faster performance, a boosted battery and updates to other specs too. Here’s our hands-on, side-by-side look at all of the best new bits.
The P30 may not be quite as premium as that Pro model, but it’s still looking like one of the best 2019 smartphones around. With ultra-wide and a new periscope telephoto option, Huawei’s camera tech is more flexible than ever. You also get the new Super Spectrum tech, which captures brighter, more detailed photos and video.
And while this new phone sports a similar design versus the older P20, the specs have been boosted in comparison. The new Huawei P30 is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset, with 6GB of RAM. You get a bigger OLED display rather than a RGBW LCD panel, although resolution stays the same.
