I tried iPhone XS for 3 weeks! ? (Lifelong Android User)

I’m a lifelong Android guy, and I just switched to #iPhoneXS (daily driver) for 3 weeks.. it was fun and interesting! iPhone and iOS have some nice features, but too many things that force me to switch BACK to Android. Here’s my Pro’s and Con’s List of iPhone and iOS.

Which side are you on, #iPhone or #Android?! (My Instagram @schmanke poll was split down the middle, very surprisingly.)

Have you ever switched from one side to the other? Tell me your experiences down in the comments!

I used android from 2010 to earlier 2019. Last one was a galaxy s8. I love the platform and the freedom it gives you honestly but I switched to iPhone for the sake of simplicity. I didn’t want to be on my phone so much and the iPhone just cut away a lot of distraction for me. You can’t customize it nearly as much but at the same time considering the way I ACTUALLY use my phone this is far better for me ? can’t throw shade at android at all though. If I’m honest I think android phones are great for people who want to keep their work flow more separated. Having different devices for different things whereas owning an iPhone and more Apple products is a more continuous flow if that makes sense. I like both platforms for different things but my daily driver is definitely the iPhone

It really depends on the person, when i used my first samsung phone, an s8. I loved it but over time it became slow, the edge screen became a hassle, the “accessibility” it offers isn’t the amazing anymore and everything else became worse. It made me realise how amazing the iOS software is.

IPhone I use an oppo at the moment which is android but in a few months I'm switching to the iPhone xs Max because my phone is very laggy no matter how many times I fix it or reset it.

Ben has hit some of the main comparisons to help a person choose between iOS & Android. With the pros & cons always being from a point of view, the facts are obvious. A person can appreciate a more simple operating system which shows them what to do & helps on how to get it done. A person can appreciate the ability to have an operating system which can be shown how to get things done. From there, the personal question for most is, "How AuthenTech am I?"

well im iphone user since iphone 3g , you mentioned some of bad things about ios not all . . . add also bluetooth and wifi can't be turned off from control center , since iphone x , images ratio at some apps like whatsapp messed up , images shows as zoomed and some parts of images are out of screen size , control center moved to top , it was at bottom which they made it more harder to access it , because of these . . . . older models was more useful than now

I cant lie apple does look nice and is smooth, but android is starting to catch up to their speed and sometimes is even faster than apple. Androids have more power, customization, features and as you know from Huawei, a nice camera. I'm a proud Galaxy S9 plus user

And then there's me! I don't think its fair to comoare apple with samsung.. Or apple with LG.. Or apple with oppo or Huawei.. Apple should be compared purely with apple its home brand just with different apple products among the apple family! Ios cant compare and shouldnt compare to Android as well as vise versa bc its TWO COMPLETELY.. COMPLETELYYY different software and Hardware! Apple products should only be compared to other apple products to keep it fait just like any other device, brand , software and harware in my opinion. Cant compare Mazda to Tesla.. Its not fair and its two COMOLETELY different make models companies and what ever else !

I switched from Samsung Galaxy s7 edge to iPhone 8 and it was the best decision ever. My family is all iPhone and I was the only android and I always said I would never change to iPhone but my power button stopped working and happen to visit the T-Mobile store that day and I picked the iPhone 8. Androids get so slow after a while. Now I have the iPhone XS best phone I’ve ever had. Just my opinion tho.

Its just you don’t know most of the things like you can put a folder ? on dock just like Droid.
Yes Customisation is not there in iOS but hey most of the Droid phones become laggy after customising the theme. Another thing I noticed is most of the Droid user are not using that customisation themes in their Droid devices.

I decided to have "The Best of Both Worlds". I have an iPhone 6s Plus and a Huawei P20 Pro. (OK These two may not be the best phones on their respective systems, but it does allow me to access both Android and iOS).

If every android users know how to tweak and flash custom roms your the master but in ios it gives you full security and powerful performance but overall ios dont have is rooting

I recently switched over to iOS and I honestly can say I don’t miss android. When I heard that iPhone is simple, secure, and fast I just thought it was just an apple sheep kind of thing. But I can confidently say that it is simple but not in me trying to make up something. I ended up realizing that I don’t use all the features on my previous andriods that it almost seems gimmicky to me now. Apple just makes your phone do these few task that you need a smart phone for and they do them flawlessly. Although I do miss my old phone a bit iPhone just helps me use my phone for task instead of all these little customizations that just end up wasting time to me. My opinion. It just comes down to what you want.
