iPhone XS vs OnePlus 6 | Side-by-side comparison

We compare Apple’s iPhone XS with the OnePlus 6, the latest iOS 12 smartphone versus the best value premium Android handset of 2018. Which is best for camera smarts, specs, performance, battery life and beyond?

The iPhone XS costs from £999 here in the UK, which is frankly barmy. For your cash you at least get a well-specced smartphone with Apple’s latest A12 chipset, a crisp OLED screen and a slick dual lens camera – but is the iPhone XS too similar to last year’s iPhone X?

The OnePlus 6 in comparison costs from £479, less than half of Apple’s asking price. You still get super smooth performance, a crisp OLED display, buckets of storage and a smart software experience. Plus, the OnePlus 6 serves up a fingerprint sensor and choice of designs, unlike the iPhone XS.

I live in an Apple household, so the first X suits me perfectly. The XS and XS Max don’t jump out as must haves…specially for the price. ??‍♂️ The One Plus 6 (on the other hand) is absolutely gorgeous and a true beast……at almost half the price. I LOVED the video brother!!
