Throughout this video my teardown anxiety was at an all time high till he confirmed it worked again… I've had to deal with repairing, and damaging a GS7, so all glass phones are a nightmare in my eyes.

God I miss my V20, that all metal enclosure was the easiest to teardown.

I had a phone wich reach 50/52 degrees of temperature simply watching a video. I open it: this operation was really easy, because all this heat make the glue on the back glass completely broken. When i removed the motherboard… i saw that there wasn't any thermal paste and heatpipe!!! Only a ultra low quality thermal pad, glued to the metal behind the display. This phone was a vodafone smart platinum 7. Just a shitty phone. I changed it with the warranty for 3 times, then i bought a xiaomi mi 8 lite.

Amazing that the mass market prefers a solid looking phones over a replaceable battery. iPhone started that trend that caused the market to ridicule Samsung's S5, the rest of the market followed. For me, I slapped in a fresh brand new OEM battery into my LG G5 last month in about 15 seconds for $8.
