This phone has a higher resolution 32-bit Hi-Fi quad DAC is sounds better it's lighter it's more durable with a mil-spec 810g rating ip68 a two-year warranty with wireless charging died his phone is so underrated lgv40 even now is probably better than the newer phone you just bought this phone laughs at 1080….

Why do this review if you have to talk about other phones in it too. I think tech reviewers are getting so lame they do a review about one phone and they just can't stay focus on that one phone, what is the point of doing that review then?…….. They all suppose to be different from each other hence their logos [lg, samsung and whoever else].

Best part of LG phones os not only they continue with most dated technology hardware ,a 3.5mm headphone jack but further enhanced with quad DAc . Wired head /earphone are way better than wireless phones . Lg will sale there phones on this unique feature alone and 80 %people like earphones every now and then .

To LG, if your reading this. Please make a phone with same shape as the G Pro 2. I mean for guys with big hands, the shape of todays phone is a disaster. PLEASE make the phone "Wider" again. 6.4 inches with dimensions similar to G Pro 2 is the way to go for Male Customers. Thank You.

These v series are sooo badass… The morrocan blue I have is gorgeous… I wear a rugged armor but I take it off when I'm using it in bed or around soft places because it's just so beautiful

Actually you are undeveloped youtuber . Who doesn't want 3.5 mm jack it's just you. I just exchanged one plus 7 pro Chinese trash for g8s just because it has that jack and waterproof resistance and wireless charging

That's the first review that states the naked truth about LG 2x tele photo zoom which is just a fake. The quality of the tele-picture seems to be just the same as standard photo. Just digitally zoomed in and cropped. Shame LG. I've got V40 and quite like it but tele photo zoom is just… pretended.

This phone is priced at just 35000 inr in India that translates to nearly just 500$ so it's a very good deal in India . 6gb and 128gb storage

The screen looks as good as a galaxy 9. The music through this phone, especially the quad dac. After going from the s8 + its running nice. The manual camera is sub par. Due to the manual mode in the s8+ is all manual while the v 40 you need to switch cameras to get to other controls. As far as worth. It so far has more customization then the s8+ is nice, the audio is far better head phones or not, the video recording is beautiful, the video reproduction is great as long as the source is good. As far as how the ui is. I was a samsung guy since the instinct. This v40 has been simple to get use to and learning how to use the same functions just meant learning the way lg and google want it phrased. Its been a great phone for know and i got mine on sale for 500.
The only bad i have to say is battery. Since the screen is so nice i do keep it on the highest resolution. So maybe if i took advantage of the battery saver it may be a bit better. But it is a smaller battery. Have a good day .

Where from did you hear or saw that "is pretty obvious that consumers don't wan't it (headphone jack) anymore"? All the people that I spoke with, told me that removing headphone jack is the most stupid thing in mobile phone industry. Look at the comments in this video and you'll see that is pretty OBVIOUS that most people WANT headphone jack on their mobile phone. Think twice before you say something in front of the camera. Your personal opinions stated as "obvious consumer's opinions" could harm Android Authority

Many deals on this phone ( which I'm using right now).
Can get this for around $740.00 right now. Also, carriers like AT&T offering a $400 rebate when you trade your old smartphone in – cuts the cost to around $525.00.
Sprint lets you lease it for $20.00 a month.
Battery could be better. New updates for the camera helped with most of the blurring issues on the telephoto lens.
Best 32 bit Hi-Fi quad dac available hands down.
Memory should have carried over fro S. Korea at 128 / but with a free 256 micro SD card from Sprint, this phone has tons of space.
Sadly, in my opinion this is a highly underrated phone.

Wow the only thing people can complain is the notch wow petty. I when I first saw this phone at T-Mobile the notch did not bother me at all.
