Mac user switches to the Huawei Matebook 13

Those who know me well, know that I’ve been a Mac user for many years now. But with all the changes that come with moving to a new city, I figured I’d give moving into a new laptop a try. I mean why not?

The Huawei MateBook 13 is a Windows laptop that starts at just under $1,000 and in this video I seek to find out if creators like me can do the same things on a laptop that costs more than half of what we’d usually pay for our daily driver of choice.

I'm a Mac user and I have grown increasingly critical of the brand, but I will not use that shitty Windows ever. When Huawei launch their own OS (no doubt they can do that) I'll gladly consider the option. Nice video, thanks.

i just bought one i5 version and I think it has heat problem. my laptop's fans keep on running most of the time. and the heat coming from it sometimes unbearable.

    anyone faces this as well?

Huawei raised their prices for the Matebooks and now propaganda and reviews of them are all over the place, funny when they were way cheaper you wouldn't see many content… they great tho but the price raise… not worth it

currently using matebook 13, the trackpad is unbearable and also the bottom firing speakers are muffled when using on bed sheets. everything else are decent.

So, you didn't actually buy it or switch to it. The company paid you money to "review" it. You know you're a paid shill when you refer to a $1200 laptop as "affordable".

And no, the Huawei MateBook 13 is NOT a gaming laptop. Neither is the Matebook X Pro. They might play some games is medium to low settings.

    Apple, Samsung users: Worldwide
Huawei users : Only Chinese bc they do not care about their communist party taking advantage of their information.
