Does anyone know the size difference between the Nokia 6 and this Nokia 8?
If this phone is the same size as my Nokia 6 it will be a slamdunk and I will buy it. I don’t want to get a tablet size phone.

Nokia has been the first mobile that has been able to completely fulfill all the things I would normally want in a mobile, it is very durable, awesome, this has the capacity to compete with the latest of mobile like Samsung n iPhone, n Huawei, I was thinking of switching to iOS but thanks to nokia i have stayed with android, I was actually low on cash when I really needed a phone n somehow I landed with Nokia 5, n i must say it is absolutely amazing, can wait to buy myself a Nokia 8, thank you Nokia.

I have had the Nokia 8 for 3 months. Brilliant phone and I am delighted with it, except the Battery is rubbish. At first I got well more than a day out of a single charge, now I am lucky to get 19 hours. I have changed to a black screen, reduced the number of Apps running to 2 in order to get 19 hours maximum.
Nokia Help are not helpful! Things seem to have gone wrong after the first update from Nokia. I went to bed with about 65% Battery and woke up to find the phone dead. I love what is in the phone but I can not recommend it.

My Nokia 8 128gb still feels fast like it did in the launch, unlike my previous Samsung galaxy s1, s2, s3 and s5.
Those started to lag in the basic use within the first 6 months and the s5 actually started to lag almost immediately after the initial setup.

Having the stock Android experience must be major factor for the nice and fluid experience that I have had with it.
And after one year I would still recommend this phone to anyone.

I'm sorry to say that, but coming from a bootlooped LG G4 the Nokia 8 camera is really disappointing compared to my 3 years old LG G4.

Even on bright sunlight: The picture sometimes is noisy as fuck and the colors could be better. Some picture details are missing compared to my G4. In every picture you have several Objects that seems to have a unreal color to them or aren't just sharp enough on the edge of the photo.

meanwhile I got the famous pro camera update along with Android 8.1. But for me it changed not much with the camera app. The pro mode is more or less a joke for me. My old g4 had a camera pro mode too, on the g4 i could saw the pro mode change in real time before I even took the picture. That was great !

On my "new shiny" nokia 8 I can change settings in pro mode and after I took the picture I get the result. That's stupid

The low light performance with the stock nokia 8 app is terrible, compared to phones like Samsung S8 or LG G6. I try the google camera apk from apkmirror.com. That helped a bit with the low light shots. But my Nokia 8 is still far away from the picture quality of a Samsung S8. The S8 of my brother does decent Low light pictures while the screen on my Nokia 8 is just plain black with some tiny lightspots.

For me the Nokia 8 is more a premium Midclass phone than a upper class flagship. Buy the Nokia 8 if you are a gamer because of the pretty strong hardware + fast Stock Android performance and the bright and sharp display.

But if the camera is not unimportant for you, you really should stay away from the Nokia 8 ! You won't be happy with the camera, it doesn't feel like a 2017 flagship camera

My favorite feature is the heat pipe, definitely is something that cellphones should keep an eye for future designs, kudos to Nokia for bringing it up. Flagships are getting terrific performance lately, but heat control is something to look for as we keep getting more advanced features into our pockets.
