Ive always had a Samsung… until now. Its hard to admit it. Especially, for a die hard Samsung user. But, I think that test was not as close as the reviewer stated. That 1Plus6 is a freaking beast! The camera is not as good as the S9. But for the performance and price I'm going with the 1Plus6. Samsung better get back on the gas. Otherwise, this challenger is gonna be the Champ!

For the money the op6t is a very good phone. I use the s9+ and very happy with the performance. Both phones are very fast & I would be happy with either or, you can't go wrong!

OnePlus 6 is slightly above Samsung S9 Plus comparing the specs. They both literally have same specs except for the Display, Battery and Camera. OnePlus 6 has better display of 6.28 '' ( 15.95 cm). OnePlus 6 has better Camera with 16+20 MegaPixels – MP. Samsung S9 Plus has better battery with 3500 mah. OnePlus is slightly above. If you add 265GB for both then OnePlus would gain more advantage.

Stop having this excuse that the speed from the OP6 comes from its quick app transitions. These animations shouldn't affect load times anyway since it is loading while the animation is playing. So really OP6's style animations are beneficial only where loading times are under a fraction of a second. The S9+ overal clearly struggles a bit more loading some apps when they were left in RAM compared to the OP6. Of course the OP6 can thank the 8GB RAM for its performance but samsung chose not to have this hardware feature. And you pay for it in terms of performance. I think the S9+ is there when you really want to spend all your money on a phone, and don't care about value. OP did a great job on sacrificing some features and investing in better hardware for an even better value and user experience.

In my opinion, Samsung Galaxy S9+ is a nearly perfect phone with amazing camera, performance, and audio.. but for OnePlus Six with a very fast performance for a cheaper price for S9, I think I would recommend OnePlus six if you're a person who loves to admire lightning-fast phone at a less expensive price.Still though, no phone is going to beat Samsung S9+ 😀 (Until maybe a few months later we dont know..)
