OnePlus 7 Pro vs Huawei P30 Pro | Side-by-side comparison

Our OnePlus 7 Pro comparison with the Huawei P30 Pro focuses on speed, camera smarts, battery tech, software features and the specs, after Chris has used both phones as his daily driver. There’s benchmark and gaming tests to show off the premium performance, plus a close look at that gorgeous design work.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is a serious rival to the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy S10 Plus, the iPhone XS and Huawei’s P30 Pro – one of the best smartphones of 2019. One of the biggest upgrades is that triple-lens camera, which we compare vs the P30 here. Like the standard OP7, you also get Snapdragon 855 performance, a beefy 4000mAh battery and the latest OxygenOS – one of my favourite Android launchers alongside Huawei’s EMUI. With updated features like the fresh Gaming Mode, Zen Mode and beyond, the OP7 Pro offers a slick experience.

This Pro version of the OnePlus 7 also delivers a gorgeous full-view AMOLED screen, courtesy of Samsung. It’s sharper and boasts a better refresh rate than the P30 Pro, although we still love watching HDR content on its rival.

So which is the best phone in your eyes? Let us know below and check out my comparisons with the OP7 Pro and other handsets like the S10 Plus and OnePlus 6T.

Well no more Android updates (Gmail/Youtube) for Huawei. Not sure what worries me more, the Chinese government having "access" to my data or Google šŸ™‚

I would definitely get the oneplus between these two cause I think you get more for your money. What about the Honor view 20 tho? It is 420 now, is it really worth it to spent another 250-300 for the oneplus?

OP 7 Pro's screen is so big. I think maximum screen size should be 6.2" with no bezels. I used the tablet nearly with this size. Come on, man, it's a phone, not a monitor. It should fit in my pocket.
