It is not like which phone is faster b/c all phones nowadays are fast and they are basically the same in opening apps. It is more like which phone is more powerful. It means not only that it will run better on day to day apps. It will load faster inside the app and overall it will run smoother for greater period of time. The A12 has no match in terms of performance and the optimization will keep it faster matter if it is older chip or not.
