If the pixel 2 xl speaker grills/mesh get pushed in too far, is the phone's waterproofing compromised and water can enter the body through that point, or is there a rubber seal behind/beneath the grill mesh that upholds the phone's waterproofing? Thanks for your help!

I loved my pixel 2 but it cracked right on the antenna line, and then eventually stopped working in sad. Won't ever buy a pixel 2 again
