Why do I feel like this is one of those pieces of technology that nobody will ever buy and it will get picked up for 30 dollars on ebay by guys like LGR atleast a decade later to do a 30 minute video on why it failed?
Any sign of a crease is a deal breaker. For $2000 it better look flawless. I need to see it hands on before I decide to buy. But I'm a galaxy fan. So I think it will look as good as it does in the video
I have a feeling that this big honkin’ taco phone will be quite a bit more popular with women who have some purse real estate compared to men with nothing but their jeans pockets. No way am I trading the compactness of an iPhone 6 for a long thick folding brick that’ll surely snap in half someday.
samsung is 5 years ahead in foldable tech. huawei just stole a tech that samsung already had years ago. infolding tech is so much more sophisticated that chinese just can't make them at moment. huawei just came out with this half baked inferior outfolding phone to steal attention from samsung.
Great preview! I am now very hyped for this. Like…take my money..please. It seems like it is the perfect size. And the fold, if you've never used a flip phone before, you have no idea about the satisfaction of flipping one open and closed. StarTac, Razr.. anyone?? It was just great to flip the phone closed to end a call..and knowing the call ended! It appears that this would be in the same vibe. And back to the size, the folded size looks perfect as well. I love that it is slightly slimmer than the big screen phones out. Best of both worlds. I am a tiny bit concerned that they polished up the video and are possibly hiding some visible effects of the screen folding, but I believe because the screen folds inward, that the screen is somewhat floating, which is the reason they couldn't curve it around the edges like their current phones. Basically it would slide to the edge of the bezel when folded and recede a little when opened. The build looks solid and spot on. All the other features look great on the demo. We'll have to see all of that in live action. In any event, again, great job with this. I'm stoked. ?
Why are you so fucking bitchy on the crease on these devices? Who gives a fuck? It is what it is, and it's a new type of product. Shut the fuck up about the crease already. The Huawei phone's software is fucking crap compared to One UI.
BIG QUESTION……..is it any way you caould find out how durable on the anti scratch factor that the fold in screen is when doing alot of physical work while it's in the pocket????????????
Battery is ridiculously too small for my liking. Esp to power that many screens, if they incorporated the S-pen id be all over this phone in a heart beat.

Is it S pen compatible? Please let us know!
Samsung said that it would have already released the Fold 3 years ago if it intended to use outward folding.

Pointless product.
I'll just wait a year from now
My question is….. Who's making a screen protector for this phone?…….???

Holy fuck, at what point in the video does this douchebag get to the fucking point?

Phones costing over 2k :0 wtf
The words cheap and inexpensive are not interchangeable. I just bought the S10+. I am feeling good, still. My Priv is having end of life struggles.

Join the hype train
Your going to be using it folded more than open so the Huawei is far better with full folded screen, and their tech is the best in the world.
삼성 폴더블 폰 만세!!
Layer
Hey i can fold my phone too.Whats the big deal? crack
I don’t like it
Disclaimer All images of inside screen completely unfolded are simulated. Except for the shot at 4:55, you can see the crease
This phone for rich people with money to blow.
Fuck it….im buying them both…..
I can alway return the one i dont like…
Personal option if your going to make a foldable phone make it so when its folded its more of a full screen unfolded than not.
