Samsung Galaxy Fold vs Huawei Mate X: Who Folds Better?

Over the last couple of days, we have had two new flexible smartphones being introduced.

The Galaxy Fold from Samsung was first featuring a dual-display technology. It comes with a 4.6-inch HD+ screen alongside a 7.3-inch AMOLED QXGA+ foldable display. The Samsung Galaxy Fold comes bundled with six cameras all in different places for use in any orientation.

On the other had, we have Huawei’ Mate X which is based on a single foldable display. In phone mode, the display is a 6.6-inch 19:5:9 panel and a 6.38-inch 25:9 panel as well taking into account the rear. But when opened up, you get a large 8-inch display for multimedia consumption. Because of its design style, the triple camera setup on it can be used easily both in the folded and unfolded orientation.

But what about the rest of the the phones’ specifications? And how much value do they bring?

Samsung and Huawey both have the ability to make great phones, but Huawey still doesn't have the ability to make infolding phone. That's it. Who is going to carry a soft plastic screen phone without any protection? You are going to pay $2,600 for it. There will be many infolding foldable phones by other companies in the future, because Samsung will sell the infolding screens to those companies. Then the price of foldable phones will drop down to around $1,000. I will upgrade my Galaxy Note 9 to Note F at that time.

No phone is perfect! Neither samsung nor huawei.
We don't have to tout one and disparages the other one. Both phones are good enough. Now it's only because it's the first generation, so the price is high.
Best wishes to huawei and samsung!

Chinese company might be possible to invest a lot of money. But No-one can't chase efforts without investing tons of time. That's why we shouldn't have built factory in china. We shouldn't have established any diplomatic relationship with china.
