YOU KNOW WHY THEY DID IT THAT WAY BECAUSE THEY CAN MOVE THE SCREEN LIKE A LAPTOP AND SOON THE BOTTOM WELL BE A KEYBOARD AND THE TOP THE MESSGAGE SO NOW THAT YOU CAN USE IT LIKE YOU WOULD A LAPTOP

This is more of foldable tablet than a foldable phone. The outside screen would be unpleasant to use as a phone. Huawei's version seems a better design.

Outside screen needs to be equivalent to size of current phones. Needs to be slimmer when folded. 8-10 inches unfolded. Mate X is ahead right now. But Samsung will get it right in 2-3 years.

I can literally watch that original samsung ad. This may be considered a plagiarism or something. c'mon CNET. Give us your own video using this.

that huwaei is so much better. shame they basically stole all the decades of r&d from samsung basically and will spy on you (more) than other brands

That uneven fold, ugly notch, terribly unimpressive folded screen, and 20 cameras make this design look very amateurish. The Huawei Mate X has none of these issues and has a much more impressive intuitive design. If they can make the screen durable there will be no contest.
