The Huawei Mate X Changed My Mind!

I’ve spent the last couple of months repeating the same thing. That I didn’t believe in wearables. That I felt they were a solution in search of a problem. The thing is, it’s not until you actually hold one and use one that you truly understand how a product makes sense, and that just happened. I’m Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow and I just spent some time with the Huawei Mate X

Jaime , did you notice any visible crease on the phone screen like the one visible on the galaxy fold ?? and im with you , I love the look of this device and will save me having to get both a phone and a tablet but the price is just too much for me.

Totally agree and I'll be getting one as soon as I can. I have the Mate 20 Pro now and it's by far and away the best phone I've ever had. I need the screen real estate and this is a no brainer for me.

But display is on Huawei plastic ?? and you can see folding bump, on other hand samsung is way way way ahead and its true flat and not plastic display…

I love it I think it’s goin to sell like hot potatoes when u see anyone with it it’s a show stopper I’m already loving the 6.6 size so that’s a big plus for me the main question is it waterproof I don’t like when it unfold that is not completely flat but other than that I can already see me playing movies and using it more than my ipad

what about this one?? the energizer folding phone?????? extract: On top of that (yes, there's more, and no, I'm not being paid by Energizer), the phone offers a lifetime warranty, which allays some of the fears raised about how expensive it's going to be to repair or replace the new breed of foldable phones.

If this phone is so impressive, why wasn't it the talk of the show?

But where the Power Max P8100S really boggles the mind is its price tag: it's set for a late 2019 launch, priced at €899. Both Samsung and Huawei's headline-stealing foldables are pushing two grand. https://www.dezeen.com/2019/03/07/folding-phones-energizer-power-max-p8100s/

I’d buy it if it had a stylus that was as good or better than the Apple Pencil.. With that much screen a stylus is a must; especially at that price!

the U.S. government banned Huawei to protect apple and its trillion dollar market cap. If Huawei enters the U.S. market with its recent offering of new tech, it will be the end of apple and its trillion dollar market cap.

Hahaha so the only thing this guy came up with as usability is that you can show a picture to somebody?????? great, pay them 5000$ for that. the smartphone market is completely dead and morons are all that is left…

    Huawei mate x is bad…
The fold is designed less pretty but waaaay better performing.(no wrinkle in the middle and no scratches on the plastic)

Anyone remember when Samsung's foldable screen technology was stolen last year and sold to two Chinese companies. I wonder which companies those were ??

2400 dollars? Are these Company out of their minds? Yes, its new teq but does that necassary means that they have to fool consumers? Rubbish… I also do agree that product is made for speciel target group, but price cant be justify the value of product. This is would i call: rabbing your consumers….

    That thing is Gorgeous.
Not hating on Apple here yet it seems as though the wheel has turned for them they seem years behind their time now in comparison.
