Venezuela's "not a coup"; Spain's revenge of the moderates; Huawei & the UK

Call it a popular uprising, call it a coup attempt.Whatever it was, it failed. Venezuela’s military standing by president Nicolas Maduro and largely ignoring the call to rebel by opposition leader Juan Guaido.

For the first time in four decades, the far-right has made its return to Spain’s parliament, but with the moderate center-left scoring its biggest win in over a decade, last Sunday’s snap general election failing to fit Europe’s populist pattern.

It’s not all about Brexit in the UK. “I swear on my children’s lives I did not” leak, sacked defense secretary Gavin Williamson told the Daily Mail. A rising star inside the Conservative Party billed as the kingmaker for whoever will replace Theresa May, he denies telling a Daily Telegraph reporter about the government’s green lighting of a security-sensitive 5-G mobile network contract to Chinese tech giant Huawei.

It’s in the name of national security that France’s foreign minister says Paris is involved in Libya. Jean-Yves Le Drian telling daily newspaper Le Figaro that even though nationalist general Khalifa Haftar’s torn up the UN’s roadmap for reconciliation by laying siege to Tripoli, he’s still a force to be reckoned with.

You got to hand it to Samsung. It’s overcome bribery scandals, exploding phones, more recently it’s had to delay launching a folding phone launch after breaking issues, but it’s still hugely successful and it’s still willing to try stuff. And while its curved TV sets turned out to be a flop, now it’s unveiled the Sero which – yes – is a vertical television set. Kind of like watching stories on your phone, only bigger.

How deep can people fall, loosing comlpete conection with the human conciousness.. dont you have any shame speaking all that lies to the world?
How much did the americans pay you to play this game of lying with them?
You dont mind if thousands of people would be killed in a forceful atempt for a regime change..
Listen to you makes a honest person sick and vomit!

How can big important men such as are gathered here allow a ‘ leeway ’, a little nobody make this group of leaders look so foolish? He’s like a bridegroom who keeps telling his guests my bride will arrive anytime now. It’s time these leaders go about more important business.

No discussion of the brutal United States economic siege imposed on the people of Venezuela intended to starve Venezuelans into submission. Then you discuss the brutal dictatorship of President Maduro. The people of Venezuela are under siege, and everyone knows it, except FRANCE 24 English. US puppet, Juan Guano, is universally hated and perceived as a stooge. There are 3,000,000 militias who are prepared to fight in the mountains and jungles of Venezuela. Nobody is afraid of the United States anymore. Venezuelans are prepared and waiting.

Venezuela is a socialist state, which means it's communism! When does a communist state have elections on democracy? To answer your question: it doesn't! Maduro has control of the military! Who ever has control of the military in a communist states controls the power, so, Muduro control everything! Who is Guiadio? Nobody of any importance! ???

Guaido looks more like a clown each day passing by. The people in Venezuela see that and 150 countries see that. The facist takeover is failing miserably. "A coup is not a coup". Lol. What a joke. Btw, the US government can't pretend to care about the Venezuelan people if they are being part of the literal famine and genocide that is going on in Yemen.

Methinks Craig whines too much about 'malware' found in Huawei. Did he ever hear of Vault 7? I think he means to say that China has won the 5G war because it just produces a superior product.

The reason the US wants to take over Venezuela is that it needs their oil when they attack Iran, which they are crazy obsessed with doing, and Iran cuts off all the oil through the Straits of Hormuz.

España, culona (cobardona), esta hundida hasta el cuello en la complicidad para desestabilizar a Venezuela. Coward Spain, is fully compromisedl as an abettor for desestabilizing Venezuela. Saludos desde El Paso, Tx.

Fuckn USA, Fuckn France, Fuckn Great Britain and Fuckn Germany, Fuckn Spain, Fuckn Israel, I love the way you are telling the big "truth" about Venezuela. 666 (brokenphi) — Curse on you for all the eternity — (brokenphi) 999

Brazil’s pre-salt is the biggest group of conventional oil discoveries this century. The biggest field, Mero (formerly Libra), holds an estimated 8 to 12 billion barrels of recoverable reserves. The entire region probably holds more than 100 billion barrels of recoverable oil, according to an academic study. The Transfer of Rights area is just one 3,865-square-kilometer section of the pre-salt, and Petrobras is already producing oil there from the Buzios field. Production from the pre-salt has surged from nothing 10 years ago to more than half of Brazil’s total output, at 1.5 million barrels a day. While it is expensive to explore and develop these remote fields deep in the Atlantic, production per well is higher than at other deep-water regions such as the Gulf of Mexico or the North Sea, making them extremely profitable. The break-even oil price for the Mero field is $35 a barrel, according to Petrobras.
Well it´s all taken care of…Labor Party leader Lula is in jail ( fast trial just before elections he was senteced to 12 years), an extreme right wing president was elected with close ties with US, during campaing visited Steve Bannon, after election was visited by Bolton and Pompeo. They managed to "save" Brazil but are still strugling with Venezuela.

Correcting the 1st and 2nd speaker, Russia didn't kept a tyrant in power in Syria, what they did is "saved the country to become another Libiya or Iraq.

Don’t you just love how these fake news love to manipulate the narrative to hide the fact that this is a US/CIA backed regime change no different to the ones they did last century

Why didn't any of them say we shouldn't do any coups instead of complain about how guaido cant get it done. They were so cavallier about oil being the reason for intervening in Libya. This was disgusting. Dislike for the millennial bashing.

With Erik Prince and his Black waters contract mercenaries in the game of destabilization of Venezuelan National Security, let’s hoop that a Maidan 2.0 doesn’t break out in the streets of Caracas!! Trojan Horse Guaido is already acting as a kind of Victoria Nuland and he is giving out “peaceful pro-democratic cookies” to the Venezuelan people!! The vehicles that were stolen at gunpoint by Guaido's mercenaries to cause chaos in the streets can be consider, without a doubt, as one of CIABOUTEUR JUANDOG’s “ Pro-democratic cookies”!!

“We-CIA- are Masters of Lying, Cheating, & Stealing. And that is the Glory of the American Experiment.” This CIA destabilization campaign in Venezuela must stop now!! Keep your bloody hands out Venezuela MFrs!!

It’s was a coup. He said today the day were going to take it by force. Only when no general took his side and he knew it was a flop and he when into hiding he call it not a coup but a peaceful protest. And all was lost why did the Bolton call out the names of what general and leader and expose there names? They could have another coup. Total rookies

Aljazeera thanks for ur double talk. On one side u try to seem fair on the other hand u are upholding white supremacy. Many americans did not like Donald Trump but had to live with the decision of his win. No one suggested a coup. "Democracy is Hypocrisy"-ask Malcolm X
