I have just received my Xiaomi mi max order however the phone came with global ROM 9.6.4.0 OEDMIFD , will be able to receive OTA update once the globe version is available or is this Fake? I have been reading about it online and someone said it's a ROM and it's dangerous. Can someone please advise me on this.

Hey! I bought a Xiaomi mi max 3 last July 30, 2018. It's really good but the problem is; it's weak signal strength. Some time, it can not made call and received calling. So I hope Xiaomi company can fix this issue so that many people will like it, I'm in Philippines and the signal here is not great so make mobile phone that strong in seeking signals.like other mobile brand they are good in network strength here in Philippines.

Will this phone be supported by any US carriers? I checked all around on will my phone work and I don't see any carrier supporting 4G on this phone.. plus my concern with Chinese manufacturers is how many OS updates will they support after the sale? I'll never buy another Motorola phone simply because they refused to update the G4 Plus
